6:00am start today. Showered and packed up and then went down to breakfast which was sausage, hash browns an apple, a croissant and some juice. Then we got back on the bus and were going to go to a mini Stonehenge that we can hug the rocks and stuff but then we got lost so we just went straight to bath instead. When we got there we went on a guided bus tour of the city and saw how beautiful the architecture is. We saw the crescents (which are large townhouses joined together in a c shape) and the circus (which is the same but there’s 3 in a circle).
Then we had lunch and a bit of free time. For lunch I had bath’s best fish and chips (or so I’m told) and then we did a bit of shopping before going to the roman baths/hot springs. It was another one of those electronic guided tour things with the audioguide to tell you what was going on but we didn’t have time to do all of the guide so we just listened to a few things here and there as we walked through. They are very pretty but they have this thing where you can drink some of the water and it was kinda gross and mineraly.
After the hot springs, we went and set up for our evening performance at a nearby church and then had diner at the hotel. Dinner was leek and potato soup and porck with mashed potatoes and green beans. Dinner was a little rushed because it was a slow process to get everybody served but we managed (even if we were a little late to our gig). We played our show for another audience smaller then our band but it was a lot of fun and it was also our last performance on tour. After the show we came back to the hotel and had the dessert we hadn’t been able to eat at dinner which was cheese cake. Then we went back to our rooms and got ready for bed. Today was a good day but I’m a little tired. From here on out we are tourists only so tomorrow and the next day should be lots of fun.
What, no bath in Bath? Miss you! <3 Mum
