6:30am start today. We had breakfast and then headed to the meeting point and the bus took us to the bromley youth music trust building and played with one of their bands and then listened in on a rehersal. Then we had lunch and got to know some of the band members and then drove to the church where the evening concert was going to be. We set up and did a sound check and then for a walk in the area. After that we went back to our homestays for dinner. We had fish and chips for dinner tonight with peas on the side. Then we had a little rest and went back to the church for the concert. In pretty sure the band was bigger than the audience, but thinking about it, who was going to come to see a performance of people they didn’t know? So it was kind of a dress rehersal for tomorrow’s show. As it happened, the church has a massive echo so playing in it was interesting but at least it got us to articulate. After it was over we went back to our homestays and got ready for bed. Tomorrow we have another performance and it’ll have audience even so that should be fun.
